A quest for a particular bottle of Scotch took us there this weekend. The owner was an amazing wealth of information,and he was delighted not only to connect me with the object of my desire, but also expose me to a variety of things of which I had not been aware. Incredibly knowledgeable, unbelievably friendly and personable. We spent almost half an hour, just talking about whiskey. I drove down from Vancouver, Washington, specifically for this, and I will absolutely be doing this again, and again and again.

This shop has gotta be the best in town. The staff is great and friendly to talk to and enjoy talking about the stuff they sell. Their selection is fantastic and they have a growler fill station that I've always loved checking in on when I decide which scotch to try next
This is I think the largest liquor store in Salem. It's in my neighborhood and gets most of my trade. I've been living here 20 years and I swear to God, I think the staff changes every visit. I know of no other retailer with such a rapid turnover. I have had some extremely unpleasant exchanges and can understand the one-star reviews, but objectively the staffing is above average. If you are into trying exotic liquors or practicing mixology, this is the outlet to frequent.

Liquor store with many tap beers and growler refill station in Salem. Friendly and knowledgeable barkeep. We tried 3 or 4 samples and after talking about what we preferred, he suggested we try a few different ones. Excellent customer service also from staff stocking bourbons. He asked what we might be looking for and provided valuable information on availability of certain product.
